Production
personnel check the quality of in-process production and finished goods.
This includes manufacturing parameters such as stem heights and crimp
dimensions in aerosol production, cap torque in liquid production. In
addition, the line operators are responsible for fill weights and visual
inspection for all processes. To supplement the Quality to the Line process, a physical quality control technician performs an hourly audit of the production process and finished goods. The physical quality control technician is responsible for monitoring the physical performance aspects of the finished package. This includes pressure, spray rate, spray pattern and the type of break-up generated by the package.
