Our history

1988
Owners Jack Shelby, Robert Dunaway, and Robert Macher open Aerofil Technology, Inc. in Sullivan, Missouri with just two aerosol lines and less than 50,000 square feet of space.
1990
Due to rapid market acceptance driven by an unwavering commitment to enterprise excellence, Aerofil undergoes its first major expansion of nearly 60,000 square feet.
2007
The owners led the charge on a bold and daring new direction adopting the philosophies and practices of the Toyota Production System (TPS). Through their entrepreneurial spirit and vision, ATI embarked on a Lean continuous improvement journey that would forever change the face of our organization and blaze a new trail that has now engaged an entire industry.
2012
Aerofil introduces a revolutionary liquid packaging line that was featured in Packaging Digest. Liquid Line 6 is a fully automated, high-speed liquid filling line that features a 30-head Mass Flow Filler with a mono-blocked capper and trigger inserter.
